Windows 10: deleting folders inside Users Folder

Discus and support deleting folders inside Users Folder in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; I found the hidden default folder in addition to the others. Discussion in 'Windows 10 Support' started by NourinE, Oct 3, 2016.

    When you discuss computers you have to try to be exact.

    There is a user called "Default" (which I mentioned in the first place and said was hidden).

    There is also another called "DefaultAccount" (which has the "Account" bit on the end.) Just because it has "Default" as the first 7 letters doesn't mean it is the same....

    Not a bad stab at rambling on about a completely irrelevant thing though I guess.

    I finally managed to delete the 'Administrator', 'Default Account' and 'Guest' Folders.
    I had to disable/uninstall the Vaio Care that requires the mentioned Accounts, then after deletion they didn't appear again.
    Thank you all for you help and guidance

    Good work ! So it was VAIO 3rd party software that created these extra folders ? I hate when these add folders to the C or Documents folder and usually check right after software install. Thanks for marking topic solved so others can find a similar solution to same issue. Cheers
