    Ever since I have upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, my desktop computer has been crashing leaving a Blue screen with code errors. Mainly DRVER IRQL. Today, after MS TECH SUPPORT uninstalled then reinstalled Windows 10 for the second time, a crash error code of DRIVER KMODE. appeared. I need help PLEASE. I have had over 8 MS TECH'S help me over the last month. I know they are trying their best to help; however, they are missing the bullseye. Thanks. Mark Buchanan3

    Computer keeps crashing

    when its in the l last step of installing windows vista it crashes i think its a hardware issue because the is the second disk it has done it on ( i returned the other one) any help would be great system is in the system specs its windows vista ultimate also

    Hi,

    There are many possible reasons why the computer will keeps on crashing. One of which is missing or corrupted system files. For us to further isolate the issue, we suggest answering the following questions:

    • What exactly are you accessing/doing when the computer crashes?
    • Were you still able to login to the computer after it happens?
    • Can you send us a screenshot of the error messages or mini dump that you've received?

    In the meantime, if you're seeing a blue screen when the computer crashes, we suggest following the steps on this article:
    Troubleshoot blue screen errors. Kindly choose the appropriate answer to the category
    "When did you get the error?".

    We'll wait for your response on this matter.

    [Solved] Windows 10 keeps reinstalling KB3119142

    I noticed quite some time ago that KB3119142 (Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package) kept reinstalling itself for some reason. At least once daily. Sometimes up to several times a day. I just ignored it. It didn't seem to be doing any harm. And I figured they'd eventually fix it. Well...days turned into weeks, weeks into months, with no end to the problem in sight. It dragged on unsolved for at least the last few months. Literally reinstalling itself hundreds of(at least a hundred, felt like more) times in that period of time.

    So I finally googled it a couple days ago. And just got around to fixing it today. Which appears to have worked. And it couldn't have been easier to do. I feel so stupid to have let it intimidate me for so long.*Oops! DELL Desktop computer keeps crashing since having Windows 10 installed over a month ago :oops:
