Windows 10: Dell Inspiron 15 5000 won't start upon arrival?

Hello. I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 for college, and I was very excited to receive it considering all the specs it comes with. But when I plug it in, right out of the box, it will not boot up, and will not charge. I have never used this computer before, it's fresh out of the package, and the charger is lighting up which means the charger is working, but the laptop itself will not charge. I'm not sure if it's DOA, or how to tell. Should I contact the seller to get an exchange, or should I try to see if the battery/motherboard is DOA first?

Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series laptop- the audio software with welcome, closing and other audio sounds does not work.

Since I purchased my Windows 10 Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series laptop, the Windows audio system doesn't work well. No Windows welcome or closing music, etc.

BIOS update on Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series

I have a new Dell laptop, Inspiron 15 5000 Series. I received a message today that there was Dell update for BIOS, so I updated it.

When it rebooted, I received a message couldn't reboot. The only way to reboot was to go in and change the way to boot up. After I did that it rebooted but now I can't log on with face recognition, can't turn camera on. This is the second time this has
happened and both times was after BIOS update.

 

Dell Inspiron 15 5000 One Problem Solved, Another Rises

Last week, I did a reset on my Dell Inspiron 15 5000 because I hit the Blue Screen Of Death, which lasted 4.5 days. On Sunday the reset completed and I was navigated to a panel that asked if I want to continue to enter Windows 10 or Power Off. I selected
the "Enter Windows 10" option and it took me to the Dell start up screen(which is just the logo screen), I waited a while for it to start up, but what happened was it would freeze up at the Dell screen with no loading icon and after 30 seconds-1 minute, it
would shut itself down for a second then repeat the same thing. I don't know if this is some glitch but it's been 2.5 days since and I still haven't gotten into my laptop. Suggestions anyone or is this just apart of the process???
