Windows 10: Dell laptop camera not working

I have a dell inspiron 5559 laptop.

I recently updated my laptop through windows update and since then my built-in camera stopped working.

I have tried may options but it failed to start.


Imaging device is missing in the Device manager, so no camera found.


when i try to open camera through Camera app


We can't find your camera

Check to make sure it is connected and installed properly, that it isn't been blocked by antivirus software

and that your camera drivers are up to date. If there is a physical switch or button for the camera on your pc

make sure it is turned on

Please do the needful and send me the solution for this problem as early as possible

Dell Monitor Camera

I have a Dell Monitor hooked to a Dell XPS Laptop. I want to use the monitor camera not the laptop camera. I've tried the suggestions from a closed thread about activating the camera but when I try the steps it keeps going to the laptop camera.

Suggestions or am I asking the impossible.

 

Dell camera driver

Is the Camera listed in Device Manager ?
My DELL INSPIRON 15-5578 lists a > Realtek IR Camera Driver
My older Dell's used > Dell Webcam Central

 

Dell laptop camera not working

I just recently purchased a Dell laptop with Windows 10, and just recently discovered the camera will not work on any app. I tried following the help page for reasons the camera might not work, but it doesn't even show that there is one, even though there
clearly is a camera on the top of the laptop. It won't show on device manager, I have the privacy settings updated to allow the camera to work on the camera app but it still is not working. Please help!!!!
