DELL Laptop “System Files” storage is very large

Windows 10 Home, 20H2, build 19042.630 on DELL Inspiron 15-3576 laptop.

I believe that the average storage space used by Windows System Files is around 20 GB but on my DELL laptop it is 34.3 GB.

I believe DELL installs a specialised version of Windows in their laptops but could this amount to an extra 14.3 GB?

I am referring to the OS files here, not storage used by apps, and there are no restore points saved since System Recovery is turned OFF.

Does anyone know how to reduce the storage taken by System Files?

    Thank you.

    :)

Dell laptop isn't detecting video files in the mobile device's storage area.

While trying to transfer any large video files such as movies, my dell laptop isn't detecting the files in the mobile device's storage area. If sometimes it detect mp4 files, mkv files won't be detected, sometimes neither of the two will be. I've VLC
and QuickTime players installed in the machine, is it something related to the players or do I need to have any other software installed in the machine?

    Could someone advise a solution?
