Windows 10: Dell Latitude XT2 NTRIG pen and touch issue with Windows 10 Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134

I had been having lot of problem with Dell XT2 NTRIG "pen and touch" under window 10.

Here is what I found.

1. I found that I could eliminate the random "Ghost touch" issue by loading another HDD with Win7 and run the Control Panel NTRIG "CALIBRATE" touch. After I return to win 10, "Ghost touch" issue under windows 10 is HISTORY.

2. Unfortunately I still cannot get the PEN to work under windows 10 Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134.

If I uninstall "Ntrig duo sense PEN HID device", the pen works for a few seconds when "HID compliant Pen" is installed by plug and play. But then, plug and play AGAIN puts back the "NTRIG duo sense PEN HID device" and the pen is AGAIN disabled.


Question is, How can I get Windows 10 to permanently use the generic "HID compliant Pen" driver and STOP reinstalling the "NRIG duo sense PEN HID device"?


MICROSOFT should be able to do better since it now owns NTRIG.

1. Implement "touch screen calibration in their new NTRIG driver.

2. Allow users to load earlier version of the "NTRIG duo sense PEN HID device" driver that always works.

Should stay Version 1803 build 17133.1 or Go Version 1803 build 17134¿

A serious bug was found in Windows 10 17133 forcing Microsoft to discard it and replace it with Windows 10 build 17134.

You will have to upgrade to it, since Microsoft will not be supporting build 17133 with updates.
