Windows 10: Dell Monitor goes into power save mode only when I open Outlook 2010

Dell Monitor goes into power save mode only when I open Outlook 2010.This happens quite often and to get the monitor working again I simply unplug the monitor cable from the computer and plug it back again.

Power save mode on Dell monitor

My monitor can go into power save mode only when I open Outlook 2010. I am not sure when it started but I am having this issue quite often now. I have to unplug the monitor cable from the computer and plug it back again
to get it work. I use Dell monitor and computer running Windows 10

 

Dell Inspiron 580S Desktop Goes Into Power Save Mode Frequently

Hi,

My Dell Inspiron 580S (Dell IN1920 Monitor; NVIDIA GeForce 310; Windows 10 Home Version 1607) Occasionally slips into power save mode for no apparent reason.

The monitor does not come back on and the PC has to be shut down by pressing the power button.

Sometimes, when the power button on the PC is pressed to switch the system back on, the monitor LED comes on but immediately goes back into power save mode accompanied by a constantly high rpm noise from the PC, which I think is the hard disk. At other times,
the system boots up and the monitor comes on with the brief initial high RPM noise coming down to the normal boot-up sounds of the PC.

Is it an issue with the RAM or is there another fix for this issue?
