Dell Touchpad doesn't fully work. I get ApMsgFwd.exe when turning off the PC

Good Day,today while working in Microsoft Word my Laptop Touchpad stopped fully working.I am no longer able to use the left key of the touchpad. I am also no longer able to scroll using two fingers. My right key still works. I am also able to move the cursor. An external mouse still works. When turning down the laptop most of the time i get the error ApMsgFwd.exe. I know that this is in correlation with the touchpad, but i don't know what to do about it.I already checked my drivers, deinstalled and installed them. I also did all Software Updates. The only thing i haven't tried is upgrading to Win

    :)

I want to disable touchpad on Dell laptop

    Hello everyone,
My laptop's touchpad works and I don't want it to, because I prefer a mouse. It's a Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series on windows 10 OS.

What I have tried that hasn't worked:
    • start<settings<devices<mouse & touchpad<additional mouse options. This opens a window called Mouse Options which has 5 tabs up top, none of which involve the touchpad. The Hardware tab shows 2 devices: the mouse itself, and the USB. No touchpad there.
    • windows key+x<mobility center. No touchpad to be found.
    • various function keys. No options for touchpad on/off.
    • device manager<mice and other pointing devices. Again, only the mouse and usb show up. It appears the touchpad is working without a driver, which is a little spooky.
Any other suggestions? I could try downloading a third party driver, but that seems like a step in the wrong direction.
    Thanks

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    Thanks again!!

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Does it mean my HDD is useless?

    A. Roll back the driver (You will have to repeat the steps for all entries listed including Synaptics)

Click Properties > Under Drive tab, if Rollback Driver is enabled click it
