Windows 10: Dentrix software emailing to Outlook 2019 is dumping the emails into the drafts folder of...

We have a Windows 10 64 bit Pro workstation running Office 2019, and Dentrix Dental software.

We have two accounts configured on this workstation in Outlook. A Network Solutions IMAP account which is set as the default, and an Onmicrosoft.Com account that we use to share a calendar across the office. We don't really use the Onmicrosoft email account.

Dentrix has this ability to take a document out of the document center, and email it out.

If we only have the Imap account configured, Dentrix opens Outlook, sets up the email, and all we have to do is hit send. The message goes out normally.

If we add the onmicrosoft account to the mail accounts in Outlook, Dentrix opens the correct Outlook send window, and puts all the correct email info in the message. From address, To address, Subject, Text, Attachments. All good.

But when we hit Send on that Outlook window, it shoves the message into the onmicrosoft.com drafts folder, even though the from address is the Imap account.

If we open the message in drafts, and hit send, it goes out normally.

We spent four days on the phone with office support. Completely de-installed Office, flushed the email accounts, the Outlook profile, erased the Outlook folder in users/xxxx/appdata/microsoft/outlook, rebooted, reinstalled, and recreated the profile and email accounts. All of those steps proceeds normally.

But it does not fix the issue.

The only way that we can fix this is remove the onmicrosoft.com email account. Then emails go out normally.

Office tech support is stumped. Dentrix claims that there are no email settings in their software, so there's no issue on their end. They point the blame at Msoft. The office techs think it's something in the registry.

Anyone have any ideas? The user is annoyed that she has to go through multiple steps to send emails when no one else in the office who has the same setup sees this.

This issue may have occurred due to an email account conflict or an application issue. For us to help you with this, kindly answer the following questions:

• What version of Outlook application are you using? Is it Office 365 or Outlook 2016?
• About the emails saved in your Draft folder, please check if they were received on the recipient’s side. Also, can you see the sent emails in your
  Sent Items folder if they were sent?
• What specific email account are you using? Is it Gmail, Outlook, etc.?
• Have you tried deleting some unnecessary emails on your email folders?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you
run an Office repair on your Outlook application to see if there will be any changes.

Saved emails not going to my Drafts folder?

For some reason, emails that I am writing that I close and save are not going to my Drafts folder. I checked the setting in Outlook, lowered the number of minutes needed before its saved to 0 and directed it to my Drafts folder but still nothing. Any ideas?
