Windows 10: Designer Mouse - Microsoft's dodge

This was the reply by mSoft's moderator - a cop-out and finger-pointing move if I ever saw one, BUT... can you fix my problem, same as above: my Designer Mouse frequently and randomly stops working:

Thank you for responding. If the mouse is working on other laptops, compatibility can be a possible issue. We recommend getting in touch with the device manufacturer or communicate with the store where you purchased the device.

Thank you very much, Microsoft, but can't you do some introspection and figure out why so many have the SAME problem with JUST YOUR MOUSE instead of pointing fingers?


And if you want a laugh, I can't use a wired mouse because my cat eats them - well, the tail!

Designer Mouse Not Working

Bluetooth Designer Mouse Troubleshooting

I'm running WIndows 10 on a Lenovo E560 and my Microsoft Bluetooth Designer Mouse has stopped working. Some weird symptoms:

• In pairing mode, the device will appear in the Bluetooth Connection Manager, pair and connect. The mouse correctly finishes pairing mode when paired.
• However, although it appears as connected, it doesn't work.
• If the mouse is turned off, it still shows as connected in the Bluetooth Connection Manager.
• If the bluetooth in the PC is turned off, then on again, it appears as "Paired".
• If the mouse is then turned back on, it doesn't connect again.
• Other Bluetooth devices pair and connect correctly.

Any suggestions? Or is the mouse knackered?
