    Why does Win10 latest version keep telling me to change my battery settings to get a longer life? Its a desktop: the only battery is the cmos backup!!!!!

    start menu stopped working

    You can eliminate the problem by turning off hibernation. Hibernation is most beneficial with a laptop to conserve the battery charge and as desktops do not rely on a battery you can turn it off.
