Windows 10: Desktop cannot start

What do you feel solved this issue, did you do something else ? I see some voltages to be low as i felt before may of been the power supply. If you feel it is solved you can mark it as so.

 

I sent a message from my phone but do not see it here so will send a brief note. I would like to pursue this to see if the PSU is failing. I would replace it so it would not damage the mobo etc. or cause the same issue.
You seem to think volts were low. I will be glad yo resend a pik of the link you sent if you could tell me a little more about where to find what you need. I am going to send another pik looking for what you wanted.

 

I did yellow sensors menu bar and took 2 pix so all is covered. Does this indicate any trouble that needs attention now?

 

Again looking at 2 voltages that are a bit below what they should be, mainly +12v which is around 11.v
Lately has not given you trouble starting and is not shutting down ? Do not think will damage anything just cause is to shutdown or trouble starting if it gets worse if this is the issue for sure. Obviously this Dell is no longer under warranty.

Let me know exactly how it is reacting lately. The best way and more accurate way to know if PSU is going bad is usually not software, but a Multi Meter and or Probe devices. Since you do not have access to these i assume, this is best way for me or someone else here to see it.

 

Due to age and health about the only tool I did not give away is my multitester which I do have but I would need instructions as to how to test a power supply

Perhaps a lower volt might be due to age and the PS might have a bit more life in it.
I have my options and thanks.

 

Age is always a factor, sometimes brand new one goes bad or are faulty. I have never had the pleasure of doing this with a PSU, guess i have been lucky with PSU's. Your Welcome.
