    Can anyone PLEASE tell me how I can put all my desktop icons wherever I want on my PC,and they'll stay there,as my PC somehow keeps realigning them in a perfect square....

    I DON'T WANT THIS as I prefer my own mess!! *Confused

    Hi E. I'm Greg, a volunteer installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

    You can change the slideshow to a picture of your choice at Settings > Pesonalization > Background.

    You can also choose from many spectacular free Theme slideshows in Settings > Personalization > Themes by clicking the link to the Store to download them and have them in a library there in the Theme Settings. Some of the nautical themes include the most spectacular
    scenic pictures ever taken in the highest resolution, theme sounds replacing the typical system sounds including foghorns, seagulls and boat whistles. There are many other themes to choose from.
