Windows 10: Desktop Icon disappeared

Hi everyone,Im currently experiencing icon went missing on desktop as the same time not able to perform left/right click on it even with touch pad or external mouse. Only the Desktop part not fucntioning wherenby the rest are still working as normal. Any expert here would be able to help me get rid of this issue?*I'm new to PC tech stuff and in midst of exploring shortcut keys, ive entered RIGHT ALT+ RIGHT SHIFT + F4. Right after this problem persist.Device I'm using Huawei Matebook D15 2021 series. Not sure device spec will take on the effect, I believe providing more detailed for those who

Desktop Icons disappeared

Hi Kinsley,

• Are you referring to the desktop icons?
• When did the icons disappear? Did you make any changes to the system Settings?

It's possible that your device is in Tablet mode. I suggest you to turn it off and check if the icons appear. To do so, select the
Action center icon on the taskbar (the little message box next to the date and time), and then select
Tablet mode to turn it on or off.

Deleted icons stay on desktop (not in desktop folder)

I can only suggest that you
1 Add a list of steps you have already taken.
2 Add a comment about restarting the computer. Do the deleted icons disappear then?
2 Add a comment explaining if any Desktop items do delete correctly and whether or not there are any significant differences between those that do delete correctly and those that don't.
3 Add a list of any OS tweaks you have done & any third-party OS-related utilities you have run.

I assume you have already reinstalled your display driver.
I don't see a Repair install as being relevant. Repair Install - TenForumsTutorials

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.
