Windows 10: Desktop Icons and screen orientation

Yesterday morning, turned my comp on, entered password and everything was fine. Later in the afternoon woke comp up and all desktop icons were small. And my screensaver pix seemed longer and squashed. Any website I go to is the same. How can I fix these and get my comp back to normal?

Hi,

There's an option on Windows 10 to switch between landscape and portrait orientation. We recommend following these steps on how to switch the screen orientation from portrait to landscape:

• On Cortana search, type display settings.
• Choose Display settings from the list.
• Under Orientation, select on Landscape and click
  Apply.

Hi Vincent,

There are shortcut keys that can be used to rotate your desktop view. One of those is
CTRL + ALT + Up arrow key. To set the desktop to its normal view, please follow the steps below:

• Right click on your desktop and select Display
  settings.
• Highlight the screen you want to change (if you have multiple monitors) and change
  Orientation between Landscape and Portrait.
• To flip the screen, select Landscape (flipped) or
  Portrait (flipped).

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.
