  2. desktop and download folders are linked to my D disk

    Thank you for the informations.

    In that case I suggest you adjust the path again through the Registry Editor.

    1. Press Windows+R, type regedit.exe and click OK;

    2. Navigate to the path:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

    3. Locate the folder {374DE290-123F-4565-9164-39C4925E467B} and double-click it;

    4. Change the path to

    %USERPROFILE%\Downloads

    5. Locate the Desktop folder;

    6. Change the path to

    %USERPROFILE%\Desktop

    Close the registry editor, restart your computer and see if the problem persists.

    I await news.

    If these procedures helped you in any way, please click on "I solved my problem" and also mark as an answer, so you can help others users.

    We will always be available for whatever you need!
