Desktop Window Manager Using Huge Amount of Memory

Windows Desktop Manager is currently using 1244.8 MB of memory according to Task Manager. I don't know when this started, but it's a relatively new problem. I disabled some items in the Advanced System Settings in Control Panel\System and Security\System, but doing so did not resolve the issue. What can I try next? I've already scanned for malware and none was found.

    :)
