  1. Device/Driver Issue


    Dell Inspiron 3584

    Windows 10 x64


    Basically I'll just list all my problems below

    • 4 Broken Drivers, including
    • Qualcomm QCA9377 802.11ac Wireless Adapter - I updated to the latest version provided on the Dell website, but it still does not function properly, and every time I enable the driver, my computer bluescreens
    • IntelR Management Engine Interface - The updater for this driver says that it will update to a newer version, but after updating and restarting, the driver remains on the older version
    • IntelR Serial IO I2C Host Controller - 9D60 - I updated to the latest version provided on the Dell website, but it still does not function properly
    • IntelR Smart Sound Technology IntelR SST Audio Controller - I updated to the latest version provided on the Dell website, but it still does not function properly
    • My audio and wireless network don't work because of this
    • Not able to reset Windows; every time I try it says "There was a problem resetting your PC" and nothing changes
    • CPU usage frequently spiking up to 100% usage

  2. Issues with installing the drivers and apps after performing reset on the device

    As you are facing issues with installing the drivers on your device, do not worry we will help you with this issue.

    Provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

    • Are you facing any issues with connecting to the internet?
    • Were you able to see any error message in the device manager?

    I suggest you to try updating the network drivers and check if it is reflecting under installed programs in
    Control Panel.

    Step 1: I suggest you to
    Run Network Adapter troubleshooter

    Network Adapter troubleshooter find and fix the problems with wireless and other Network Adapter.

    • Click on Start; in the start search type
      Troubleshooter and hit Enter.
    • In the left pane, click onView all.
    • Click on Network Adapter Troubleshooter.
    • Select Advance and click on
      Run as Administrator.
    • Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

    Step 2: I suggest you to update the network adapter driver from device manager.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Press Windows key + x key on your keyboard.
    • Select Device manager.
    • Expand Network adapters. Right-click on the device and click
      Update Driver Software.
    • Restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

    Thank you for replying us.

    I would suggest you to update the USB drivers & check if the issue persists.

    Update USB Controllers.

    To update the USB Controllers from Device Manager follow these steps.

    • Go to Device manager in control panel.
    • Select Device manager and a Device Manager window will pop-up.
    • Double Click on USB Controllers to expand.
    • Right click on the USB Controllers that is listed and select Update.

    Taskbar bug: switching to another window -will not appear at the front


    Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

    Method 1:
    I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

    1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
    2. Select or click Ease of Access.
    3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
    4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
    5. Check if issue is resolved.
    Method 2:
    I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

    1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
    2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
    3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
    4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
    5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
