    Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0282&SUBSYS_103C80D0&REV_1000\4&29F1FF75&0&0001 was deleted

    The driver for Device Manager - Realtek High Definition Audio has been deleted. I did not delete it. The audio still seems to be working when I am on the web and play songs or watch videos except when I try to use any application that calls on either Recording
    or Playback devices such as an audio mixing application used for home studios such as Presonus StudioOne 3.

    I have no idea if any of this event information will be of use but this is all I have to go by. If I can provide anything else to help programs calling for either the record or playback device using Realtek HD Audio to work properly. I don't believe the
    driver is missing as I can hear sound/music from sources such as Amazon Prime Music.

    Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a H.P. Pavilion Laptop 575RH8LC

    Windows 10 Home 1909 Build 18363.720 Updated 11 April 2020

    The speakers are working fine.

    The microphone is not working. Named Realtek High Definition Audio.

    The Realtek driver is listed as 6.0.1.8186

    I use the "Test" Facility - nothing.

    I go to Properties - Events, I get

    Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0295&SUBSYS_103C8215&REV_1000\4&20c67dd5&0&0001 requires further installation.

    Can someone talk me in simple words what I can do to get the Mic to work please.
