Windows 10: Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0283&SUBSYS_80862057&REV_1000\4&19d8f49d&0&0001...

i have previously raised this issue back in April 2018....i gave up, after doing the same thing over-and-over again, expecting different result.

is there another troubleshooting suggestion you could provide?

The speakers are plugged into the NUC's 3.5 mm audio jack....and speakers confirmed functioning.

No sound, but large buzz.

I suspect its Windows rather than the audio jack itself as the culprit - I heard windows tunes, during boot and shut shutdown before.

The driver for Device Manager - Realtek High Definition Audio has been deleted. I did not delete it. The audio still seems to be working when I am on the web and play songs or watch videos except when I try to use any application that calls on either Recording
or Playback devices such as an audio mixing application used for home studios such as Presonus StudioOne 3.

I have no idea if any of this event information will be of use but this is all I have to go by. If I can provide anything else to help programs calling for either the record or playback device using Realtek HD Audio to work properly. I don't believe the
driver is missing as I can hear sound/music from sources such as Amazon Prime Music.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Can only get the (low) sound by connecting the speaker to the Headphone socket, nothing coming out of the rear speaker socket on my Asus Z97-P board
