Windows 10: Device Not Detected on Windows 10.

Context: I regularly used my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for gaming on my PC. I would always connect the Pro Controller via USB. About 16 months ago I built a new PC and it has never worked on this computer. Issue: The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is not detected by my computer when it is plugged in. It does not show under device manager. No sound is heard when plugging it in. No popup appears. There is no unrecognized device in device manager.Question: Why is the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller not detected?----Additional Information:1. The cable and controller work fine with computers. I

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Thanks, I have tried the troubleshoot options on internet but no success including suggested above multiple time.

Windows phone is not detecting

I suggest you to connect the phone to another computer and check if it gets detected. Also, check if the phone gets detected by connecting with a different USB cable.

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
  
• Click on “hardware and devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.
