  1. Device ROOT\JUNGO\0000 was migrated. What does this mean

So I was attempting to install the driver for a 3D scanner and it did not work, so I looked at the event log and it stated this with an Event ID of 440. What does this mean for the driver and what did this do exactly?

    Thank you,

    Natalie Mooney

  2. Device ROOT\INTEL_UOIP_BUS_DRIVER\0000

I was viewing my laptops Device Manager when I notice a category that I didn't see before

    >Other Devices

    > Unknown Device (unknown Properties Device ROOT\INTEL_UOIP_BUS_DRIVER\0000)

    Information

    Last Device Instance Id: ROOT\INTEL_UOIP_BUS_DRIVER\0000

    Class Guid: {624E2BE2-3C4C-4303-8CC7-8C318F348D03}

    Location Path:

    Migration Rank: 0x0

    Present: true

I was unable to update driver because the driver name was NULL.

Can anyone provide me feedback on this issue.

    Thank you.

  3. What is the meaning of 'device could not be migrated' in device manager?

This is boiler plate reply to a question which has been around for a long time.

Is Microsoft unable to reply in plain English to a simple question.

It is obvious that many devices were not 'migrated' when computers were updated to windows 10 on Microsoft's insistence and do not work properly.

In my case it was a USB composite device. My work around when the USB ports no longer work is to uninstall the driver and restart the computer which re-installs the same driver supplied by Microsoft.

Surely Microsoft must know of this problem and that its replies are useless.

  4. Device ROOT\JUNGO\0000 was migrated. What does this mean

Migrate? -- what does it mean?

I apologize for asking, but I searched and it's not clear to me what "migrate" means...

For example, in Windows Log files such as 'setupapi.upgrade.log', I see entries like this:

    set: {Migrate Device: HID\VID_04D9&PID_A070&MI_02\7&16D46DAF&0&0000} 22:06:58.64

Does that mean that the device driver from the existing Windows 10 installation was reused, or that a new device driver was installed.

This is a significant question, and a lot is riding on the answer, so I must ask that responders kindly not speculate. There are many, many articles that use the word, but I've not been able to suss out a clear meaning.

    Warm Regards,

    Mark.
