Device still enrolled in company Intune - company out of business

Hello,I'm currently experimenting issues with a desktop PC that I recently purchased in an auction: it seems that the device is still enrolled in the - former owner - company tenant, and as of that, is asking me for an account from that company to set up the device. The problem is that company went out of business, so I am currently unable to reach out to their Intune admins got the device via an auctionAfter a support session with MS, I was redirected to contact the Microsoft Data Protection Office, but as of now, I was unable to get in touch with them: there's no option on the phone that a

  2. Unable to enroll device into company intune account, 640xl

I have install Company Portal and have a passcode on my Lumia 640xl. When I go to Enroll the device under Setting > workplace - "Add Account", I'm able to add my email, sign into "Microsoft Intune", but when it searches for my settings I get the message:

"This account isn't permitted on this phone. Make sure the account information is correct and try again, or contact your company's support person for help".

on that same screen it has my email address and it asks for my "Server". I put "manage.microsoft.com" in for the server (they manage our email) and Click the "Sign In" button. This brings up Microsoft Intune, I sign in again and I get the same message.

I just got the phone 7/17/16, and checked for updates, everything is up-to-date.

    Any suggestions?

  3. Enrolling Android Device in Intune - Google Account?

    Hi,

I'm looking for some advice on the best practice for setting up an an Android device in Microsoft Intune. I understand that enrolling an Android device requires you to download the Company Store app from the Play Store (Guide found here:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune-user-help/enroll-your-device-in-intune-android
) . As you need a Google account to access the Play Store how is this possible if you are enrolling a company device? This will probably be the same for Apple devices.
What Apple account should be used to access the App store?

I'm sure that encouraging device users to use their own accounts (Google/Apple) is not good security practice.

An advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Enrolling Android Device in Intune - Google Account?

After doing my own research it appears this depends on what kind of Android device you want to enroll. Starting with:

In my case, I wanted to enroll a fully-managed device:

Enroll Android Enterprise dedicated, fully managed, or corporate-owned work profile devices in Intune - Microsoft Intune | Microsoft Learn

    According to the above documentation:

*Admins or users are to: (5) On the Google sign-in screen, enter afw#setup instead of a Gmail account, and then choose
    NEXT.*

The next step is to scan or input the Android enrollment token - Intune blade (Azure portal) > Device enrollment - Android enrollment > Android enrollment (under Manage) > Corporate-owned, fully managed user devices (Preview)
