  1. Did I miss a feature update?

Maybe I've been out of the loop on each iteration of Windows 10's branch updates, but.. when was it possible to put graphics into Notepad?

I went to a website to figure out what the emoji text was for a thumbs up. Went to this website, hit the copy button, went into Notepad (which normally strips out any formatting for me, leaving me with pure ASCII), and a graphic for a thumbs up appeared. Now, I checked the entire standard ASCII table for this character mapping, but found nothing. Did Notepad get some update that allowed images to be displayed? Did I just miss an ASCII code for this? I understand different fonts such as Wingdings do add symbols. However, Notepad on my system was set by default to Consolas, and after viewing the entire character map for Consolas, saw nothing like a thumbs up. I'm confused where this is coming from.
