Windows 10: Didn't Detect another Display Setting

Discus and support Didn't Detect another Display Setting in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; HP Envy x360 convertible.     Didn't Detect another Display Setting


    HP Envy x360 convertible.


    I keep getting an error called Didn't detect another Display setting when the laptop and monitor are hooked through a brand new HDMI cord with Brand New monitor.


    The Display Adapter has been updated.

    Windows has been updated.


    Noting seems to be working to project my laptop to the new monitor I have received.


    Please help.

    Laptop display does not detect itself

    Hi,

    In regards to your concern, since the second screen can't detect the display settings of your other laptop, we suggest that you perform the steps below and see if it helps:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on System.
    • Under System, choose Display.
    • Under Multiple displays, click on Duplicate these displays and apply.

    Hi I plugged in a second monitor but in the display settings it says "Didn t detect another display, though I m actually watching my laptop screen in the second monitor

    activesync doesn`t detect my Tytn II

    Yes after installation SP3 , my desktop didn`t detect Tytn II at all. No activesync connection.

    However I have tried to do sync operation thorugh my Laptop ( which had SP2 ), and at the same time it didn`t detect my Tytn II.



    I didn`t try system restore. How can I try it ?
