  1. Different folders set with different views in Windows 10?

Is it possible, for example, to have "Folder 1" be in "Details" view. While "Folder 2" be in "Large Icons" view?

When I open Folder 1, I would like it to always show in "Details" view. And when I open Folder 2, I want it to always show in "Large Icons" view.

I tried setting them manually but after a while, modified folders resets back to the default "Details" view. Suggestions?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Libraries No Longer Displays Folder's View Setting

It works for me (if I understand you correctly).

I opened pictures folder and set a view to "list". Applied to all folder of this type and every folder in Pictures is presented in list view.
In tutorials is detailed view just an example, because this view differs the most for different types.

    Folder View settings constantly changing

Is there any way to stop Windows 10 from constantly changing my folder view settings. throughout the day I am constantly moving between different folders for work and am constantly changing the view settings. I like the detail view, apparently Microsoft
does not and keeps changing to list, Large Icons, etc., etc.
