Windows 10: Digital Image 2006

Hi


I am so frustrated. I have been using Digital Image for all my projects and not for photo editing. I did ask a question before regarding

installing it on my new computer and was directed to use Paint 3 D. However, I have been trying out Paint 3 D and it is not what I need. I do brochure type documents, booklets and quilting projects using Digital Image and need rulers etc for sizing of shapes and also for my documents.


Please direct me to a program that is inexpensive and usable in the same way as Digital Image. I do not need it for Photograph editing but projects as listed above. Must have the same features as Digital Image.


Paint 3D left me frustrated and wondering why Microsoft discontinue Image when it was such a user friendly program.


I am retired and in my seventies and do not want to spend a fortune on a computer program as my means are limited. Free programs seem to lack the features I need.


Please help as I am needing to make a brochure in the very near future and am stuck!

Microsoft Digital Image 2006

Hi Craig,

Your best option is to completely uninstall Digital Image 2006, restart your system and then reinstall Digital Image 2006.

This should fix any issues that have arisen with the system reset . . .

 

Microsoft Digital Image 2006 Replacement

I have been using Digital Image 2006 on an old laptop for years and really liked the program. I recently purchased a new HP laptop running Windows 10. It is still very new to me and really have not completely gotten used to going from Windows 7 to Windows
10. Is there a new program that will be the same or better than Digital Image 2006. I used that program to a lot to re-size, correct problems with photos, etc.

If possible, I would like a new program that would be able to do what I was doing with 2006, but would also like to organize photo's and make DVD's of for my family.

Microsoft Digital Image 2006

Hello, I have an issue I don't understand. I had a problem with my laptop running Win 10 and had to do a system refresh twice.

Everything is pretty much normal now except I cannot reinstall Digital Image 2006. I had it installed before the refresh, but it will start and then says that Widow explorer wont install on a 64 bit system. There is no explorer on the disc. This is a program
I used frequently and I'm at a loss as to a fix as I am not well versed in Win 10. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
