    So I recently go a new desktop and installed windows 10 home onto it. My laptop had windows 8 and I updated to the free windows 10 that Microsoft gave meaning I had the windows 10 home digital license. The problem is that my PC wont activate windows, even thought im signed into the correct account and have the corresponding windows installed as the product key. This has worked for other devices for my dad who also got the digital license, however for me my pc wont read the digital license and gives me error 0x803f7001. I've looked at the thread and nothing.

    Digital license

    Thats how licensing works with Windows 10, the digital license is attached to your Microsoft Account and makes it easy to reactivate Windows 10 in the event you reinstall it.
