Windows 10: DirectX 12 and Microsoft basic render driver

I am having issues with the Halo Infinite - insider test game, there is an error that keeps popping up, it says "Microsoft Basic Render Driver was chosen as Graphics Device. Please ensure you have a DirectX 12 compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer." I have already updated everything and i have the GeForce GTX 1060, I've seen other people saying they have a second display adapter, but I don't. Please help

Step 1:

I suggest you to check the DirectX Version installed on your system.

Follow the below steps to check the DirectX Version:

• Press Windows key + R from the Desktop.
• Type dxdiag and hit Enter.
• Check the DirectX Version.

Step 2:

I suggest you to update the Graphic driver from the Device Manager and check if it works.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows + R on the Keyboard.
• Type in devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
• Select Graphic driver from the list.
• Right click on the Graphic driver and click on Update driver Software.

If the issue persists then install the latest graphic driver from the manufacturer and check if it helps.

microsoft basic render driver

I tried running cs:go on it through steam, but it said that my microsoft basic render driver does not support the game. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling all of the display parts, it didn't work. What should I do?

DirectX 12 Ultimate features will work only if you have a GPU which supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. Please check your GPU manufacturer(Intel, AMD, Nvidia) website for the list of supported GPUs and the driver updates to enable the features.
