Guys, has anyone been able to disable blur transparency in build 10158?
The registry key is missing just as in 10147. I'm a sad puppy right now, because I don't like the blurred transparency *cry

It's not that we can't enable/disable transparency, it's we can't get rid of the blur that comes with it *Sad

Build 10159 is all the same *Sad

  6. I thought you might mean that. Darn, was hoping for an easy fix.

There's a post on the MS community forums re: 10.0.074 which is the reverse of your situation.

The start menu may not blur after user switches from start screen. - Microsoft Community

Things have changed since that build but the bread crumb suggests

try using full screen start (restart machine?) then not using full screen start (restart machine?)

    Disable 'Blur Behind' Menu

    Hi everyone!

Sorry for bumping up this thread, but I was wondering if anyone has managed to find out some sort of hack to disable the blur effect in the transparencies of Windows 10 RTM.

    Thanks and cheers!
