Windows 10: Disable driver updates through Windows update not working with 1903

So I upgraded to 1903...

and now the disable driver force is not working anymore with 1903, Windows 10 will download Intel DPTF drivers over and over again after each Windows reboot and put it into C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution

None of the options described here are working anymore: Enable or Disable Driver Updates in Windows Update in Windows 10

I applied them all, again, option two:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\SettingsExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate DWORD0 = On1 = Off

option three via group policy editor, yes I have Pro, and option four:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdateExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate DWORD(delete) = Enable1 = Disable

Removed the Intel DPTF drivers with "remove driver" option, rebooted, but Windows 10 still will donwload them again and place them into C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution

Clearing the SoftwareDistribution folder ( How to clear the 'SoftwareDistribution' folder on Windows 10 and make updates happen again | Windows Central ) does not help anything.

Even the new feature of pausing updates for 7 days doesnt help here.

Creative X-Fi Soundcards and Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709 = Complete Disaster / Not Working

Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.

Not sure about the games you listed but no probs with Dirt Rally and benching heavensward-bench here for me. I'm going to test 3DMark too in a few minutes.

Oh. Your "Registry" must have gotten screwed up FLY3R. If for some reason you couldn't download your updates I suppose you could go to the update site, and run throught the steps 'till it fails activation. Then you could go up to "Tools > Manage Add ons > then disable "Windows Genuine Advatage Validation Tool." Of course you should only use this method if you are having problems updating your legitamate copy of Windows XP. Perhaps do to a corrupted piece of software? *Smile
