  1. Disabling SSL for Windows 11

I've been searching for the past 30 min on a way to fix this I'm trying to access an ILO panel for a server on my own network and get "ERR_SSL_BAD_RECORD_MAC_ALERT" in response. I have been able to access it before, and due to IE not being a thing on windows 11 half of the things I find, are not helpful. How do I disable this?

    :)

Adobe Flash message in IE 11

    Hi Sandra,

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

    link
, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

    • Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
    • Choose Internet options > Advanced.
    • Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )

Should you need further assistance, let us know.

    Regards.

IE 11 not responding, freezing much of the time, crashing occasionally and accepting too many privacy items

Re: Sachin V on April 12 2016. "I suggest you to Check all the
SSL certificates in Advanced Tab and click
    Apply."

You do not explain what checking all the SSL certificates actually do or do not do. Can you input on this.

After IE 11 reset By Default in IE 11 under the SLL certificates every SSL is checked by Default
except for SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0.

You did not input what checking all SSL's will or will not do as in, if it will cause security problems? Changes of problems with the security of my PC, etc. I never had problems with IE 11 on Windows 7 being so slow to load as I do now with Windows 10 upgrade.

I am running Window 10 Home upgrade from Windows 7 home that was running IE 11 and recently did the IE 11 Tools Option Browsing History delete and reset which normally resets my home page (msn) but it did not reset the home page thinking Windows 10 had something
to do with not resetting IE 11 properly?

I have my IE 11 set/checked to clear all history (cookies and browsing history, etc.) when the browser is closed I find ton's of cookies each day that are still on my PC even after running IE 11 Delete History, cookies, etc. I know this by running a quick
scan directly after the IE 11 Delete History and reset in that my Norton Security still finds tons of cookies. So it appears that Windows 10 upgrade and IE are not working well as a team and or Windows 10 does not allow IE 11 to perform the way it supposed
to and used to on Windows 7 with no issues.

SSL Error preventing connection in Windows 10 - Potential Culprit Malwarebytes?

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Yes, third party applications can block port #443 which is a port number for the secure version of Hypertext Transfer Protocol (http) used to access web pages. I would suggest you uninstall Malwarebytes as you already have Avast
security and Windows defender which comes with Windows 10 to keep your computer safe.

If you are still not able to access the secure (https) websites, then follow the steps mentioned below:

Method 1: Check if SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 are enabled

    1. Open Internet explorer (IE) and then click on tools menu.
    2. Then go to Internet option.
    3. Then go to Advance tab and click make sure Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0 are checked.
    4. Click on apply and then OK.

Method 2: Check the secure sockets layers (SSL) slate.

    1. Open Internet explorer (IE) and then click on tools menu.
    2. Then go to Internet option.
    3. Then go to Content tab and click on Clear SSL State.
    4. Click on Apply and then OK.

Method 3: Reset Security settings under trusted sites zones in internet explorer.

    1. Open Internet Explorer (IE) and then click on tools menu.
    2. Then go to Internet Options.
    3. Go to Security tab and click on trusted sites. Then click on reset all zones to default level.

    Method 4:
Follow the steps mentioned in the article:
Fix network connection issues in Windows

    Hope it helps.
