Windows 10: Disappearing Memory

I have just installed 32Gb mem today.All morning I had lots of free memory, and I have been doing the same kind of thing all day, but it has dwindled to now just 7Gb. I am a s/w developer, running Visual Studio and VS code together, Outlook, Edge several windows Postman, SQL Server. If I open Task Manager and order by Memory, Edge uses 1.6Gb, VS 1.5Gb, OneDrive 1Gb usually much more, OpenJDK .4Gb, Postman .45Gb, Node .27Gb, VS Code .2Gb.The rest is small stuff, too much to add up, but according to Task Manager, it amounts to 25GbI suspect a memory leak.Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.19043 Bu

Choice of memory and motherboard... a bit stuck...

No one who got some suggestions on this one, huh?

I've found out that the Asus M3A78-T needs to be flashed, so then that motherboard is excluded from my list. Which motherboard and memory should I then go for? Any suggestions?
