  1. Disconnect and connect sound caused by onboard bluetooth device wont stop?

I have an Aorus X299 mobo with onboard Bluetooth and it has a driver error which windows update does not rectify and so the device keeps making the chime sound of connect and disconnect and its driving me crazy. I have a very nice computer with an Intel 7820X Skylake chip on the Gigabyte Aorus X299 board with 64 gigs of Corsair Dominator Platinum ram an M.2 SSD Samsung EVO 960 with Corsair AX1200i Platinum PSU with the holy grail GPU an EVGA RTX 2080 TI FTW3 Ultra and I don't understand how I can have state of the art equipment and windows has problems with it. I have tried to load the drivers to fix it but nothing has worked and I don't think I should have to be an I.T specialist to make THEIR operating system work with this nice of a machine?

    :)

  3. Wireless (bluetooth) headphones disconnect, reconnect without sound if pc stops playing sound

Windows version: 10 pro, version 10.0.17134 Build 17134 (according to system information)

headphone brand: 3sixT wireless bluetooth headphones

    Issue:

Headphones connect to laptop (surface laptop), listed in bluetooth settings as connected for voice, music

If I don't start playing any sounds (music, youtube etc) in the next ~30 seconds after connecting, the headphones alert me that they have disconnected and reconnected, but now they list only voice connected. Same thing happens if I was listening to something
and stop/pause it for too long.

They are no longer available in the audio output changer in task bar when this happens.

The device manufacturer (3sixT) does not provide any custom drivers and they seem to use the standard bluetooth headphone drivers available on whatever system they are connected to.

These headphones connect without issues to my phone (android); issue only seems to be with my laptop.

Unable to find many discussions of similar issues, and those that I could used outdated advice / settings that no longer exist (one suggested something in power settings for the device under the device manager page, but that setting doesn't exist now...)

Any ideas how I can resolve? (EG, headphones don't disconnect and reconnect without sound if sounds stop playing?)

No sound as PC is connected to a bluetooth device.

    Hi Samuel,

As per your description, I understand that there is no sound in your PC as it shows that it is currently connected to a Bluetooth device which you do not recognize.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

    1. Have you connected your PC to Bluetooth speakers?

    2. Do you recognize the device that is connected to your PC?

    3. Does the Bluetooth device display under Control Panel > Devices and Printers?

For now, I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if you will be able to remove the device in question.

To remove the device from your PC, follow the steps below

    • Select Start > Settings > Devices >
      Bluetooth.
    • Select the paired Bluetooth device that you want to remove > Remove device >
      Yes.

Your reply is very important to ensure that we provide the appropriate resolution. Do provide the above information so that we can proceed further.
