Windows 10: disk space lower than it should be

so my storage should be 256gb, but the pc shows it only has 222gb so i think okay the 34gb are probably reserved for windows, but then i see that the windows folder is 26gb inside c: which is taking up even more storage, i also have a game installed which is 54gb, and in WinDirStat which is like file explorer but more detailed. it says its taking up 40% of my c drive. however when i go and calculate 40% of 222 its supposed to be around 80? so how come its taking up more space than it should, both my game and windows? i reset my pc and its still the same after downloading everything, i did disk

  Press Windows key + W and type
  Troubleshooting.

  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select view all on the top left corner.

  Click System Maintenance,
  follow onscreen instructions.
  

I suggest you to run Check Disk which performs an analysis of the disk. Refer to the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).
• Type chkdsk /f and hit enter.

Low Disk Space error

Hi,

I suggest you to delete the unwanted applications or games installed on the device and also perform a Disk Cleanup.

In order to delete the games or applications, which has been downloaded from the Windows Store you need to right click on the game and select
Uninstall option from the Start menu.

If the games that you are downloaded are .exe or the applications which are not downloaded from the Windows Store, you may try deleting it from the Control panel.

To do so, please follow the below steps.

• Right Click on Start Menu.
• Open Control Panel.
• Click Programs.
• Click Programs and Features.
  
• Click on the programs that you would like to uninstall.
