Windows 10: Disk Storage Not Going Up Even After Emptying Recycling Bin

Hi. So I deleted some older YouTube Videos that I made because they were taking up a lot of space around 20-30 gb and afterwards I went to the recycling bin to permenantly delete them, before I did so I had 49.4 gb and afterwards I had 52 gb, this makes absolutely no sense how after permenantly deleting them I only gained 3 gb. I'll be honnest i'm not a tech or computer person and I've researched everything and nothing worked, and then I went to Microsoft Support where they proceeded to show me how to check storage which I know perfectly well how to do.Any Help Would Be Appreciated!!!!!

Add Empty The Recyle Bin to right click on your desktop (Works with XP & Vista)


Just Copy the the text below to notepad and save the file .reg (tip.reg) click on the file and there ya go!

Recycle bin will not empty


I used a file synchronizer to get rid of a bunch of images and the program sent all the small files to the recycle bin. Anyway, there must be a thousand small file in my recycle bin that will not empty. The "empty recycle bin" begins the process by listing all the files, but it just keeps going in circles and will not empty.

 

Temporary files shows recycle bin has 4GB in it, but actual recycle bin is empty

If you refer to my original post, I did not say that my recycle bin is empty. I stated that my recycle bin has over 4GB in it:

"When I go to the storage on my device and look under temporary files, it shows my recycle bin having 4.84GB in it. However, when I open the recycle bin there are no items in it."

My storage shows that there is over 4GB in my recycle bin, but there are no files in the recycle bin when I open it. I have already tried everything you have suggested and they do not fix the problem.
