display calibration issue after resetting the pc.

my system is attacked with a virus so i reset my pc then the display looks like tinted -10 value. so i went to the service center and changed my operating system and updated all the drivers and bios. and we checked the motherboard and also the hardware checks everything. but the display tint wasn't solved. so i mailed to intel and updated all the drivers and installed a new graphics driver for my laptop. again i went to service center and i changed my display for the satisfaction. but its not good. and now im using the lap with calibrating the display using the intel graphics command center. b

    :)

  2. display calibration error

    Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

I would suggest you to try these Methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

I would suggest you to try the steps under the section “Calibrate your display” to perform color calibration in Windows 10. Check if it helps.

"Get the best display on your monitor"

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows-8/get-best-display-monitor

    Method 2:

If the issue persists, I would suggest you to install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps. If Windows 10 drivers are not available in the computer manufacturer website,
you may install the latest display drivers in compatibility mode.

    To install the display driver
in compatibility mode, I would suggest you to follow these steps.

    a. Download the latest display driver for Windows 10 from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

    b. Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

    c. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    d. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and
select Windows 8 from the drop down list.

    e. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Keep us posted if you face any issues on windows in future. We will be glad to help you.

    Display Color Calibration

We appreciate the detailed information. You can try uninstalling the driver in Device Manager and reboot the device. After the restart the system will automatically install the driver, then you can try to

    calibrate the display
    again.

If you don't want to uninstall the driver, we suggest that you try the below steps:

    • Go to Color Management using Search or Cortana.
    • Click on Advanced tab.
    • Select Change system defaults.
    • On the new window, click on the “Advanced” tab on the upper side of the window.
    • Now you will need to check the box next to “Use Windows default calibration”.
    • Left click or tap on the “Close” button.
    • Left click on the “Devices” tab you have on the upper side of the window.
    • Select the “Set as default profile”.
    • Reboot the device and see if your calibrate screen feature is okay now.

Let us know how it goes.
