  1. Display messed up (Need Help)

I built a new computer and installed windows 10 pro from scratch. For some reason the display looks like everything is in 1920x1080 but my monitor is 2560 x 1440. Even when I try to play video games the display is by default showing a different one than my actual monitor. Installation screens and also certain programs show zoomed in icons and blurry text. I checked my display settings and graphics card drivers and they are setup correctly. I am also not able to drag two windows to take up 50% of the screen on left and right (which is a feature windows 10 has by default). I think maybe windows thinks I have 2 monitors hooked up or something because it says Display 1 when I try to drag a window to fill up half the screen. Tried resetting windows also. And completely reinstalling it. Also changing graphics cards. Nothing seems to work. Everything was fine up until I decided to upgrade my motherboard. But now even if I go back to the old one, it still gives me the same problems. Help!!!
