Windows 10: Display name in Windows 10 Mail

I use Windows 10 mail for my Gmail and other email accounts that I have. For some reason, the name that is being displayed to people I email is my husband's name (who also has a gmail account). I have verified that the email has originated from my own email, gone out to live.com to ensure display name is correct, gone through Google mail to ensure that this display name is also correct. There doesn't seem to be any way to change this within Windows mail settings (they look accurate, showing my name). I'm stumped. Can anyone help? Thanks, in advance.

While sending mail, does not show my name, instead shows my email address

I would suggest you to follow the steps to change the Account display in Mail app:

1. Open Mail app

2. Select “settings”.

3. Under settings select “Manage Account”.

4. Click on the Account name

5. Change the Account name

If still not working, try the steps below:

• In the Mail app, open Settings (the gear icon).
• Click 'Manage Accounts'
• Select the account you want to change the outgoing display name for
• Click 'options for syncing email, contacts, and calendar'
• in the account sync settings, there should be a 'Your name' text field that is used as the display name for outgoing emails.

To change your display name, just simply follow the steps below.

• Sign in here
  http://profile.live.com/
• Click Edit beside the name above the picture box.
• Enter your name and click Save.

Once you have changed the display name check whether the name has been updated in the Mail app.
