Windows 10: Display Screen

My laptop freezes when i go from the settings page to the display page, the page is blank and the screen freezes. I can move my mouse, but nothing will open or close and if i reboot, the display page is still there and still frozen. The only way I can clear it is to use the task manager and shut the settings down and then everything is fine. The problem is that I have multiple monitors and the settings are all wrong


I have updated all of my drivers and updates and have not made any other changes


How do i get my display page to work again, it worked 2 days ago and now it is blank

It is important that you have the correct screen display and resolution. We suggest that you perform the following steps to reset the monitor settings:

• Boot your computer in
  safe mode.
• Once in safe mode, right-click the desktop > Screen Resolution.
• Change the display settings back to the original configuration.
• Restart your computer.

To increase the display timeout, I suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Select Desktop and click Personalization.
• Select Lock Screen, then Click on Screen time out settings.
• Change the required time in the drop down under Screen.
