Windows 10: DLNA client support gone

Discus and support DLNA client support gone in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Any idea why support to view a dlna server in file explorer is gone?     DLNA client support gone


    Any idea why support to view a dlna server in file explorer is gone? I was able to view my Serviio media server before, but it is completely missing. any ideas on how to re-enable functionality? i have restarted/ troubleshooted both machines many times.

    DLNA streaming help

    what are you using to provide the dnla support on the main pc? I find the built in options lacking, I suggest trying tversity, it easily let's you pick what folders/drives are broadcast via dlna.

    We are sorry for the delay in response.

    As the Windows 10 is under development phase, there is no official information about how
    Windows 10 will support DLNA standards and streaming content to DLNA supported receivers. I suggest you to wait until July 29, 2015 for the final version of Windows 10 to get released to avail the complete features..
