Windows 10: DNS resolve extremely slow on Windows 11

Discus and support DNS resolve extremely slow on Windows 11 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I've encountered the problem since recently updating to Windows 11 from Windows 10 21H2.My browsers Chrome, Edge would take 10 sec or longer time...     DNS resolve extremely slow on Windows 11


    I've encountered the problem since recently updating to Windows 11 from Windows 10 21H2.My browsers Chrome, Edge would take 10 sec or longer time before even loading a new webpage especially from a new domain.I then tried `ipconfig /flushdns` to see if it is a DNS problem, and it was, because right after I run flush dns, every new domain takes more than 10 secs before it even start to load loading will only take 1 sec.To rule out the possibility of a fault DNS, I tried multiple public DNS addresses including 8.8.4.4, 1.0.0.1, 223.5.5.5;These DNS all respond within 10ms when using the comma

    faster dns?

    That is a great tool, but make sure you do the ~30 test to make a custom DNS server list first, then use it to find the fastest out of those.
