    headphone splitter

    Hi Morgan

Does your headset have just one 3.5mm plug and you are using a splitter to connect that to the two 3.5mm ports on your PC?

If so, then you are correct, most likely that splitter is faulty . . .

    HDMI Splitter

Just a splitter will give you the same image on both monitors.
If your computer has a second output like a second hdmi, vga or dmi port
you can try hooking up the second monitor to that to get your second display.

There are usb to hdmi listed but I have never tried them.

    Do I need a splitter?

Windows 10 - VGA Video Splitter

We have just upgraded all our systems from Windows 7 Professional to Windows 10. Most of these systems utilize VGA video splitters connecting their PC to their monitor and projector or interactive display. These systems worked flawlessly in a Windows 7P
environment. This is the issue we are having since converting to Windows 10.

When the system sleeps, restarts or shuts down, upon restarting the monitor displays 'no video signal'. I disconnect the monitor video cable from the splitter and connect to the cpu, restart the computer and everything is fine. I then reconnect the monitor
cable back to the video splitter and everything works, until the system is restarted or shuts down.

Are there any suggestions on how to fix this.
