Windows 10: Do I need the 20H2 update?

Is it required? Will it ever become required in the next 3 years perhaps?


I'm very displeased with this update and my computer runs better with the previous Windows 10 version. So I want to revert the update, but not if the update is required or will be for my computer to function properly at all.


So what I want to know is if I revert this update to the previous version, will my computer still work just like it did before, or do I *have to* install the update eventually, whether I want to or not?

20H2 should not be installed right-away on your device - MS said the rollout is only to a fraction of users and would be labeled as an optional update initially. Are you enrolled in WIP?

Update History is not showing v.20H2

This is normal behavior in Windows 10, typically when you install a Feature Update like 20h2, the update history is wiped, this is to prevent the user from trying to uninstall an update that was prior to the Feature Update, which would de-stabilize Windows
10, the list should start building again, when some updates are applied to version 20h2 . . .

Hi team...my most recent version is windows 10 20H2 , despite that the office 2010 32 bit updates are failing with the error code 0x80070643....i checked several times and updated office 2019 on my PC.

unable to find a solution, and it seems that if eventually that will fail....ultimately operating system clean install option will be the last remaining option, which I do not want to do.....

kindly suggest what to do?
