Windows 10: Do not install KB4556799 for Windows 10-1909.

Don't install update KB4556799. I had to uninstall it because it was interfering with the operation of my graphics tablet. The tablet in question is a Gaomon M10K-2018. Without the manufacturer's drivers, the tablet works, but is limited. Install the drivers and the tablet stops working completely. I saw an article on Forbes that many people are having problems with it and Microsoft is investigating the issues.

I'm running version 1909, so that was my issue with it. Other versions may exhibit different issues.

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
