Windows 10: Do you use Cortana?

No, after seeing that it wants to allow "apps" to see my texts, emails, calendar events etc. I have no interest in using Cortana.

 

yeah judging by how microsoft is going nowadays ,it's quite obvious ,most of or all their products will be turned into services.
so we have to pay a monthly subscription payment. I hope cortana will be a separate product in oneday but not a service.

 

Yes if read articles that is the biggest concern, privacy and security.

 

Unless i find it useful for me, if i don't i will disable it if i have to pay, of course. For now need to explore my options.

 

As I just walked in to my living room, I said "Cortana open up Edge" and she replied "Ok opening Edge browser" and opened it up to my homepage which is Ten Forums on Edge. Now that is useful. She also control Grove real well too.

 

I dont need or want it on my desktop, so disabled. The google one on my Galaxy S6 works really well and has a use for me.

 

Let me know when she can make you dinner, fetch you a beer and your slippers !! *Cool

 

That with the beer would be good: "Cortana order me my favorite beer from the grocery store" and.... presto

 

No!!! Do not use it now or have any plans for ever.
