Windows 10: does anyone know how to fix this it would mean a lot if you could help me ty-

helo i just needed help with my earphones.... normally I would have a notification at the bottom right hand side of my screen when I plugged my earphones in saying; what did you just plug in, a mic, or earphones or speakers and that watnot, but then it got annoying so I turned it off, I think it said detect audio jack and i turned it off, but now that i have earphones with a mic i want to change it back on so i can choose mic....

can someone pls help me..... i have a windows laptop.... I've looked it up on youtube and i haven't really found anything, mostly because i don't really know what to look up. if someone could give me a link to a yt vid that could help me or just tell me the instructions it would help a lot thank u!!

Yes, I do appreciate your feedback and help. You're helping suggest ways on blocking all that, which is Step 1; we gotta take the first step. But the way that I'm looking at it is why stay stuck in Step 1 instead of moving on to Step 2? Step 2 is having a response to all this. So Step 1 is to block the non-sense, then Step 2 is to take down the source, if you see what I mean. I wanna apply Step 2. Let's move forward in the whole process, yah? =)
