Windows 10: Does anyone know how to solve the error: " Installation has failed. Failed to extract...

So I have had this problem for some months now, everything started with the same discord problem where I couldn't install it, finally found a way to do it, got over it... but...

I have started to notice after that other problems appeard, like I wasn't having access to everything, I don't know how to explain it because I solved some of them by looking at endless tutorials of how to get admin permissions and things like that that I don't think really had anything to do with it because everything was alright.

Anyway, the one thing that really starts to get me so mad is that I can't really use ALMOST any installers, I can't install setups and apps, well, SOME I can (still can't install the discord setup from the site, had to do a workaround).

So does anyone know, once and for all, how to get rid of this error, what's making it occur?



*I have no antivirus apps, only windows defender, tried to turn off the protections, still same results.

KB4025339 Fails Install 0x80070564

I am trying Eagle 51's suggestions now. Windows Update troubleshooter found a bunch of errors and fixed all but one.The update is trying to download KB4025339 again. I'll see what happens. At step one troubleshooter finishes with one error unresolved "Potential Windows Update Database Error Detected-Not Fixed". Windows update stalled at 0%.

At step 2 same troubleshooter error. The KB finished a new download failed to install.
Did step 3 KB has downloaded but fails to install.

If Eagle's suggestion doesn't work I'll try EdTittel's suggestion

Tried bothe Eagle & Ed 's suggestions - do not work. Anyone else?

I have noticed that the latest update for my nvidia drivers has failed to update. Wondering about that!

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

Bigger fail?

I voted for BD . The fact that AMD has been very secretive , All the delays and a WR OC to me is nothing but a FAIL to me , Lots of fluff no substance . The rest of the list is not as much to me as this is . Why is SB on there ? That is no were near a fail and as for the political stuff goes WE ALL KNOW THEY HAVE FAILED ! The last one on the list I do not even know what that is .
