    i have installed MS family ion my kids comp, i have added the sites which intend to block , and they work perfectly well on MS edge , but now the main issue is when she uses Google chrome , she can access the same site which i have blocked on MS family ,


    now first why cant we do the same on chrome like we did on edge , why doesn't the block function apply to chrome browser ?

    if it can kindly let me know how to


    cant switch her browser because she uses google classroom for school work .. so she needs google chrome for that , hence she can access the sites which i had blocked in MS family

    Unable to block https:// sites under Family setings for Chrome browser

    This is applicable when I am using Google Chrome browser. When blocking sites in Family Safety the http: is preset. I want to block sites like facebook and YouTube from my son, but they are available with both the http: and https: prefixes. When I enter
    them in Family Safety, I cannot enter a https: prefix so they are available to him. How do I block these sites when I am chrome browser?

    MS Family started blocking Chrome

    I see no setting to block Chrome. Why is Chrome blocked? Everything was fine on this machine until a week ago and it started blocking for no reason when this machine had no issue opening it.

    Additionally, there is an email button for permissions. No email was ever received and we repeated this twice. The only place an ask for chrome existed was in the web portal.

    Now my family is asking to remove MS family. Why am I have this conversation with my family? This should work and there should not be any changes that have not been approved by a parent - including MS making changes as it creates headaches.

    Add Back to Block Chrome Browser in Family Setting for a child

    So, this document does not explain how to add Chrome back to the blocked browser list. When you go to the content restrictions page under the age steetings it provides a complete list of Blocked Browsers. I had removed Chrome from the list previously and
    now i want to add Chrome back to the list. There is no add option showing. Only allows a browser to be removed.
