    Does Outlook 2016 work with Windows 10 AND import WLM emails/contacts


    Still not liking Mail and Contacts. Is anyone using Outlook 2016 for email on Windows 10 without issue? Are you able to import mail and contacts from WLM into Outlook OK?

    MS does not support WLM any longer. It's gone. If you have a working version of it, and your Outlook is also functioning, the short answer is to forward the emails from WLM to Outlook, which if you have a lot of saved email is a major pain as well as being
    not very technically advanced.

    As far as taking a WLM backup and importing it into Outlook, I couldn't tell you. Maybe if you contact MS support directly, they can tell you. But, and not to be redundant, Windows Live Mail, along with its' predecessor Outlook Express, is gone.

    As I and many other people who have responded to this issue have said, Mozilla's Thunderbird is free, has been around for a long time and works really, really well. If you are familiar with the MS products, it isn't difficult at all to transition. It also
    has easy to follow steps for importing your WLM mail into the client.

    I do not believe you can import WLM into Outlook, but you can input WLM contacts, in a csv file, into Outlook..

    I can assure you Outlook 2016 works in Windows 10. For contacts you should be able to follow the same process for Outlook 2013.

    Although article says to overwrite I would keep original when saving in Excel.

    You may wish to search MS for 2016 articles.

    Mail will be a little more complex and appears to need a third party tool. I have not used a third party tool. I provide this link for your information.
